Project Overview
The new Devenish College will provide secondary education for eight hundred pupils, spread across 10,500m2 over three floors. Academic space comprises 38 classrooms, 6 science labs, 3 design and technology workshops, 2 home economics labs, 3 art rooms, a music suite, 8 ICT suites, a library and further supporting educational facilities, whilst sports accommodation will consist of a 4-court sports hall, fitness suite and teaching and changing facilities.
Prior to commencement on-site, Compact Underfloor developed full site-specific heat loss calculations, Cad design detail and installation layout drawings to BS-EN1264 standard, ensuring all designs, technical submissions and HSEQ details received client approval during pre-construction, and all on-site works coordinated with and incorporated into client programme at an early stage, reducing risk of redesign or project delay during construction phase.
On-site scope of works included materials supply, installation, and commissioning of Compact Commercial Manifolds, Compact 16mm Hydronic Pipe, screed membrane, insulation, and all associated fixings to be incorporated within a 50mm wet screed floor build-up.
