Project Overview
Compact Underfloor Heating provided a fully integrated underfloor heating solution for this new build school development in Strabane, split across two levels and catering for approx. 700 secondary pupils from the local area.
As part of the projects BREEAM Excellent accreditation, we provided a highly efficient hydronic Compact Underfloor Heating solution which was coupled with a low temperature air source heat pump. Utilising our inhouse design experience and industry leading software we were able to specify optimum insulation levels, pipe spacing and floor screed composition to meet the specific requirements of the building usage pattern and heat load demands whilst improving system efficiency through maximising usable heat output from the system.
All site operations were conducted by Compact Underfloor Heating trained operatives under the direct supervision of a dedicated project manager, ensuring all works were undertaken in a safe and professional manner and completed to agreed specification and in line with project program.
